Jacqueline has always felt she has a duty and responsibility to protect the people of Cook County. She is passionate about public service and has been fortunate enough to attain an education and choose a career path that has prepared her to serve the people. She uses her knowledge of the law and life experience to competently perform as a prosecutor.

As a prosecutor in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit, she primarily works with women and children who are survivors of sexual assault and battery. She has spent countless hours with families who have suffered harm and she is determined to make their experience through the criminal justice system as bearable as possible. She has a desire to do more and is ready to help and serve you as a more integral part of our justice system as your elected Circuit Court Judge.

Throughout the last 15 years as an Assistant State’s Attorney, she has evaluated, analyzed, and prosecuted a wide range of serious felonies, including cases involving the most violent sexual offenders. Those felonies include murders, sexual assaults, home invasions, armed robberies, aggravated batteries, financial crimes, and identity theft. She has extensive experience in researching and writing legal motions and memorandum of law and has tried numerous, complex, criminal and civil trials. This extensive experience, inside the courtroom, on a daily basis has prepared her for being a judge.

She is open-minded, compassionate and hard working. These qualities are what make her an exceptional candidate for judge. Her experiences in life, growing up in the city, and working at the State’s Attorney’s Office, have given her the common sense and patience that a judge needs to make life altering decisions. She has a deep respect for our justice system and wants to bring that respect back to the people of Cook County.

She has been designated QUALIFIED by the Chicago Bar Association, which is an honor she is proud to be given. She has extensive knowledge of the law, immense experience in the court system, and the ability to be impartial, objective, compassionate, and maintain integrity as a respectful and competent elected public servant.
